I have some lights burnt out on my 1984,I was wondering if anybody has taken their dash apart and is it really difficult.Also do the lights have to be soldered in or are they plug in.....Thanks as always

I should specify they are the lights for the temp,oil pressure,volts etc.

Did a repair on one of these. Another guy pulled the board out, then I {being a tech} for 30 yrs. plus got elected, and pepaired 50 plus cracked solder connections on the bd. The light are not soldered in. They twist clockwise to lock.
This car would not stay running before the repair. Hope this helps infree1943:burnout:

i have a 86 its digital dash, if yours is digital, just remove plastic dash cover, pull bulbs out with needle nose pliers. theres 4 of them, you have to pop metal plugs to get at the bulb
