I have to admit, it looks way better in person. Saw this today at the Denver Auto Show. Hard to visualize it in another color, and I know some hate it, but it sure did draw a crowd and sparkled like a diamond under the lights.

Not too much of my taste though I can say it looks really nice.

I really like it. It retains the Corvette lines while having a progressive, modern look.

Mike, what is kind of cool about this car, is that when you walk around looking at it, you see glimpses of the previous generation in it. Tough to describe, but it's different in person. Being a concept car you know something will change before it's public release, but it's unmistakeably all Corvette, that's for sure. :cheers:

I agree, you can see the split window and similarities of the C3 the most among others. I really like it! It is hard to imagine another color though.:goodpost:

I love that car ! My dream Vette is a '63 split window, so it's a no brainer that I would like that one.

It reminds me of the current trend in the big 3 of bringing back old names with a similar style to the original, added in with modern flair. Though the Vette is obviously not a long gone name, like GTO, Charger, Challenger, Camaro etc, it definitely follows a pattern of throwback styling even though a case could be made for comparison to a Caddy. Huge C3 influence in designing this.

I doubt if they will ever put a split window in a production car again. We had a 63 split window coupe back in the day and it was terrible. It completely blocked the rear view mirror and you could not see the motorcycle cop coming up on you dead center:burnout:

Agree, thats my biggest dislike of the C6..since 1963 Corvette lights hide, BRING THAT BACK!
