Figure while I'm here I might as well ask. Couple weeks ago I had a screw in my front passenger tire. The tire place said because it was in the side wall that it couldn't be fixed and I had to get a new tire. They where trying to sell me all 4 new tires saying it was better that way considering the tread on the others (only 11 months old). I ended up just going with one new tire.
Whats your opinion on this? Should I have replaced all 4 or just the one tire?

Depending on how much wear there was I would have replaced the 2 front ones. this way it has the same front tread size. I don't see the need to get all four replaced unless the 3 old ones were down to nothing and would leave you with only one good tire. I would guess that you're not running with runflats.. If you did want to replace all four and the tires with new ones , and the others were still half decent you would be able to sell them to a second hand tire shop ,,

You must have put a lot of miles on your car in 11 months to need
tires.I mean like 30 or 40,000 miles.:willy_nilly:

I agree with the last 2 post. You would have had to put a ton of miles on in the last 11 months to warrant need of all new tires. Other than that it very well been a sales man trying to get a quick sale?
