Hi! I have a 1972 Corvette, 454, 4sp. I believe it is a numbers matching car. The engine is original with about 86,000 miles on it. The body is fully restored and is in excellent condition - new paint - black - VERY nice. The interior is original but in excellent condition. It has new tires and wheels (very nice looking). I am going to sell the car in the spring, but have no idea how to price it. I had it appraised for the collector car insurance I have, but I don't know if an appraisel matches what it's worth in the open market. Can someone point me in the right direction in understanding how much to ask for the car?

Its hard to tell with out seeing it. If is in great shape
its probley worth in the 20000 range. You could watch e bay to get an idea what others are going for. the engine will make a big difference.

Yes, it is in EXCELLENT shape. I actually won at a local car show with it. It is straight and stress-crack free. It runs VERY good. It has air conditioning and t-tops. I have heard that the 454 4sp will make a big difference when it comes to price. I have watched e-bay, but there isn't really anything comparable.

Yea I agree why do you want to sale it. If you look at the post #23 on head count title you will see mine two years newer then yours and not a crome bumper I paid two much (maybe) 14000 but the milage is a lot lower but then again I put about 5000 into it as of today so if yours is done it should be worth a bit. I would love to have a full chrome bumper. thats my thoughts
