I'm looking to get some nice power from this kit and was wondering how the fuel management system is on this kit? I have spent nearly a year making a tough decision on what turbo kit to go with and it was almost a coin toss at the end. A couple people have said that the fuel management system on the APS system could get improved? Is that true?
Also after seeing a post on a custom twin turbo kit that Synergy was working on. I saw they powder coated the turbos. I liked this and posted this question there also. But will ask here too. Can turbos be powder coated and will the powder coat hold up to the high heat of the turbo's with out fading?

I have seen people powder coat them before...depending upon what color---the silver one's I have seen appear to be holding up just fine. My buddy had his done in a special hi-temp coating-almost like a Jet Hot coating.
Good luck!

Is this a C5 or C6 kit and how far are you planning on going HP & TQ wise?
If >600 RWHP, time for a boost referenced return-to-tank fuel system and a large volume/pressure fuel pump either in tank or external. APS has this kind of fuel system if you are going that route. Drivability and fueling both will be improved. Fuel system reliability is of utmost importance with a high horsepower TT setup anyway. I would also recommend a methanol kit and a forged engine at that power level. You don't necessarily have to decrease your compression ratio more than 1/2 point unless you are planning on running 20 PSI boost or something rediculous like that. :D
If you are thinking less than 600 RWHP (it's hard to use much more than that on the street with street tires anyway) then a MagnaBoost fuel pump booster will work. It raises the voltage to the fuel pump from alternator output (13.5 ish) to 17.5 Volts at a specific RPM and boost setting internally. So it's only increasing the output in a narrow window of operation where the engine needs it. Magnuson has found that the stock pumps won't tolerate much beyond 18 volts for long.
Stay very far away from the MSD fuel pump booster. The voltage control doesn't seem to work well and can go over 20 volts resulting in a dead fuel pump very quickly.

I would go with whatever color that you want to do in your engine bay and have a proffesional company coat them for you. There are so many methods now and if you go to a reputable place the outcome will not only look great but will also last a long time!!
