Hey I'm new here also, little south of you in "hurricane lane" as I like to call it or if you want to get technical - Florida.

Looks like a nice layed out Corvette community here. I'm new to the Z06 crowd, I just traded in my 2005 C6 for a 2006 Z06. There's my intro. :cheers:

We are in the NE...Near Scranton or Lake Wallenpaupak---just about the same distance :willy_nilly: So I guess we are in the Middle---Mt Cobb :lol:

Well seriously---I think PA has the most crappiest roads around. They want to lower my car and I am like---R u kiddin me---I won't be able to go anywhere :willy_nilly:

Williamsport is not that far from us---that's awesome..The snow has been pretty crappy--especially the last storm. We stayed home from work but I had to take the hubby to the Dr and I put the Jeep sideways it was so slippery---and I was not even doing 20mph :willy_nilly:

Mods?? O M G there is ALWAYS something going on with one of our cars. He just got his car into the body shop today. He already had the ACI chin spoiler installed and decided he wanted to do more so he bought a Speckter Werks (I don't think I spelled that right) rear, ACI side skirts, molded ACI brake ducts, an MCM hood, black cherry lights all around, a new nav system with amp, sub and blue tooth, new CCW T10's with Nitto Invo's and a complete paint job. When it is done I will send mine in for repaint and install a Caravaggio hood. I also got some new Crays for my car and KDW2's.

Of course there is still more. In April we are visiting some great friends from the CF in MO. They are adding HUD to my car, new shocks, new brakes,rotors and powder coated calipers and the hubby is getting new brakes, rotors and powder coated calipers. God only knows what we will think of next. I am looking for a good air brush artist locally to air brush the undersides of our hoods but after that---I am open to suggestions :)

Actually the cars are gonna stay the color they are. The hubby's is Mag Red II and he will have it repainted the same color---just so the shop does have to try and blend the new parts to the old. Mine is actually custom---or sort of. When I picked the color I picked it just cause I liked it but I have been told constantly that it is a 1980 color so I guess it's still a vette color. It's only supposed to get the hood painted and the rock chips fixed and oh yeah the dog scratched my door saying hello but if he can't blend it perfect then he will have to repaint the entire thing :willy_nilly: But it's worth it if I want it to look good.

Hi Lori! Welcome over to smokinvette! I too am a CF member and actually was the one who sold Wayne his ACI front spoiler. I was just talking to him this past week about it. Now of couse, I want another spoiler, so I'm going to have to buy another. Both of you have beautiful cars.:cheers:

Hey Jason that's right. I actually remember him telling me he was talking to you. I am not surprised you want another one---I don't think I would like my car without mine. Thanks. I was soo gonna paint my car MSG and to be honest I am not sure what made me pick the color I did other than the fact that I liked it soo much.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am betting that here and digital corvettes will be seeing an increase in members over a short period of time in the near future.
