Now these are the same heads used in Z06 LS7 motor right? So how do these compare to something like AFR 225?

L92 are for the LS3 motor.

and combined with the LS3 intake, a 228/232 cam so you dont have to flycut the pistons, CAI, headers on an LS2 you can get close to 500whp

The newer stock components are actually pretty good. A good friend of mine has a brother in GM R&D. He got an "R&D" ECU and picked up over 100 RWHP on his stock LS3. Changing nothing else.

Hard engine components aren't really the barrier anymore, except the cam I'd say.
