Appears the majority on here like supercharging.
Post your reasons why you prefer one over the other. I like both and drive a 04 Cobra and 02 Camaro custom turbo.
The supercharger is stock roots type and has plenty of torque down low which is awesome on the street, the turbo is T70 and on the highway in my opinion can't be beat.

Cost... All things said and done the twin turbo kit will set you back about DOUBLE what a basic supercharger would cost. Since any form of forced induction is capable of making all the horsepower a stock corvette engine can take, and then some, you can't justify the turbos on a power basis. Sure, the area under the curve IS bigger, but for an extra 5 grand it is not worth it for most people.
Also TT setups on Corvettes are true packaging nightmares and issues with cars overheating are not uncommon...
So that is why you'll always see more supercharged Corvettes than turbo ones.

It does depend on your skill level, if you go with a large single and can fabricate the set up yourself, you drop the cost a lot.
I'd say a lot go supercharger because of the cost and availability of a straight bolt on kit.
For efficiency sake, I like turbo.

I agree if you can do all of the work yourself other than tuning go for the turbo,s. But will have less time in the cenfi forced by far than the turbo set up. But if and when you get it on the turbo the set up is a blast. Also with the cenif. I have a YSI set up on a ls2 block making 857 rwhp in a a4 trans on a Mustang dyno and love it in boost.:sm_party::sm_party:

If you decide to sell your vette, you can take off the SC and sell it stock and get more for it ....plus keep the SC for the next car.

I believe in turbo a little better cuz you dont use the horpower to turn the supercharger and the turbos are more effecient with the exaust gas and you can find a cool spot that gets air to mount them as appose to being up in the top of the engine with a supercharger.

Wow... Just wow...
BTW it takes power to run turbos too, and they run much hotter than a blower.

I read in vette mag. that a SC was the easiest and best way to go on new corvettes (because of space)
