Had similar issue in the past. Left down visor with lights on and battery went dead. Of course, hadn't driven it in awhile. Charged battery enough to start and ensountered SYS flashing on digital display. Drove it about 30 mins and SYS error went away. Spoke with dealer and supposedly the security and memory functions drain a battery and the little extra completely drained the battery. Clearly justified connecting a battery charger during the cold months when you can't drive your car as often.

Hi,
Did the battery go completely dead? meaning was it just to low to turn the starter (below 10V) or you were unable to get any power to anything? (not even a glow in the lights)
How long had it bin sitting without being run before you were listening to Mp3?
Rich
PS If you guys are going to leave your cars sitting for weeks at a time without running it, you should invest in a battery tender, or a similar item.
