I own a 99 coupe.
I moved to a new state and need to install new plates. The front plate is easy, I can not find any information in the owners manual on removing the rear license plate holder and installing the new plate. Does anyone know how this is done?

There should be two notches on each side of the black surround right next to the license plate itself. Stick a flat bladed screw driver in each notch and push the plastic clip to the outboard side and it will release the surround. Gently as you go. :thumbsup3:

Ok, you got me. I'm guilty. I don't have one on the front of my vette. I'm waiting on my DV plates to come in and maybe I will comply. :spank: Besides, the only thing most will see is my rear anyway. :smilielol5: :rofl::rofl:

I have not installed front plates on either of my Vettes. Just pointing out front plates install was self explanatory.

No fronts for alot of people, it just looks out of place.
