I just took the weekend off, for installing my new Weatherstripping kit from Eklers, some $500.00 for the complete kit. 1984 C4.
I have the typical window leaks at car wash now, has anybody any exsperience of what to do next, AND IS THERE A WINDOW TILT ADJUSTMENT??

You might need to adjust the window anti-vibration pads. They also put pressure on the window when it is raised fully. Remove the door panel and you will see them, bolted to the door frame. They are adjustable.

Is your window loose in the raised position and door open?

Thanks fellows, i have printed off that wonderful pdf file and will pursue.
I have a couple of questions yet.

The window bumpers are ok and i have adjusted them, but...
When i move them inwards the window has lots of play as in ' Inward/outward movement.
I can see the bumpers stop play on the inward stroke, but waht stops the window from moving outwards???
In other words, i now have lots if horizontal slop with window half way down, it 'dosent' have much when it is all the way up.

Is the weatherstripping rubber? If so, how do they fit overall, leaks aside?

I have the same problem with my pass door. I can roll it down just slightly and the leak goes away. Now, I know ho to fix it.

They are rubber same as OEM, fit very well, but it's quite a time consuming job, probally all day with patience, i definantly reccomend 'Patience' at $500.00 for the kit.

I'm still trying all the adjustments, it's very frustrating and time consuming, i'm going to let them adjust to weather and heat a bit more before i go any further, it's almost leak proof but not quite.
