Will I need to tune my car (2004 C5) after installing a Magnaflow axle back and Vararam? Can I get away with picking up one of those Diablo preditor tuners? How easy are these to use? Thanks

Yes after the Vararam and exhaust you DO want to get the car tuned. I'm not sure if the diablo has the functionality to tune aftermarket parts? Who knows, you may want to contact them. I think most tuners will charge you about the same cost to tune the car for you, saving you from having to play around with custom settings in a hand held? There is another hand held tuner also I have seen here you might want to look into its Hypertech. There now you have 3 choices!

A Predator will allow you to do everything you need after installing the exhaust and Vararam.
Plus, you can easily put the car back to stock for any dealer visits and can adjust lots of parameters in the PCM through the handheld unit.
