My steering is all loose and has alot of play in it? What can I do about this? The car hasn't been taken care of as it should and I would like to start. I guess its better late than never huh? Thanks for the help.

Call up speeddirect.com at 866-338-1544 and ask for information on the Steeroids rack and pinon steering conversion kits. They have so many parts for tightening steering.

It all depends on how much you want to spend. The rack & pinion is pretty cool, but not cheap. I adjusted my steering box, replaced the rubber connector between the column and the box, replaced the rotten rubber bushings with polyurethane, and changed ball joints as needed.

It could be many things, bad rag joint, worn out gear box,ft suspension parts gone bad (tie rod ends, ball joints, bushings, idler arm) time to put it in the air and check them out.

:iagree:
C3 front ends are really not bad. They wear and get loose. Find out what is loose and then figure out if you want to go to the rack&pinion or just rebuild the stock front end.
