Anyone using their converter? I'm helping out a friend who is looking for a new Torque converter. He is asking about this company and personally I have no clue who this company is? My buddy has a one year older than mine - 2003 C5 he will be getting a head and cam along with headers put into the car during next few weeks. Then he wants to put in a different converter.

Thank you

Can't say I have heard of them either. You might want to try www.converter.com These guys build some strong converters what I have heard. I know people who run these converters in their drag cars. Thats all I can say here. Have fun!

Yank or Precision Industries. Those are the only two that we use.

Most of you are saying this percision company. Dumb question but how much different can one torque converter be from the next? Everyone claims to be the best? What are some things to look out for in a torque converter? Damn its like you need to have a PHD in auto mechanics to make sound decisions! :smack:

Thanks again for the help!

:iagree: Precision makes one of the better converters, from what I hear you pay more but the quality difference is big.

Precision and Yank tend to have lower converter slip percentages. This means that they're actually utilizing the engines power more efficiently. Also quality comes into play, you don't want a fin to come loose and destroy your transmission.
