Going to be running my vette on the Daytona speedway :
march 22nd. We got 76 vettes going over from central fllorida
We are gonna run 3 laps with a pace car in front and back.They only allow us to run at 60mph. Can't wait.

Only 60MPH?? Man that sucks, but that will be alot of fun just being on the track! Lucky dog! You need to take some pics and share with those who can't go! Have fun!

vettes over to Daytona. Then do the track, were going to try to get them to beef up the speed a little. A news reporter from the villages is going with us to do an article on the event, plus we hired a
professional photographer to take 3 pictues and I will be taking my own pictures. The cost for this was $50.00 per car.

:iagree: Who wouldn't want to go? I'm picturing going around the track with the hugh stadium seats all around you. Picturing people raving as you go screaming on buy! But I bet for something like this no one will be in the seats except for handful of those that couldn't fit in the Vettes or those recording videos for friends in the Vettes.

Ran my Vette on the Daytona speedway Saturday. It was awesome.
I kicked her up to 115 on one of the straights. We were suppose to run at 60mph but no one seemed to care once you got on to the track. They just did't want to see any passing. This was the largest group of vetts they ever had at Daytona to run the track (76).
3 laps went bye pretty fast but it was great. Hope to do it next year:party:

Sorry don't have any videos. Wanted to mention that the degree of angle on the turns is 31. Very impressive.

Did they let you guess go faster than the 60mph?

60 or 70 mph was the rule but nobody seemed to be watching.
We were not in a tight formation, we were spread out. So on one stretch I jumped it up to 115 mph. Wanted to open up more but
figured I better not because they would kick us all off the track.
