I am restoring an 86 that had a Bose system in it. It now has Pioneer radio and speakers.
I thought that I wanted the original Bose system back in the car but am now considering a suggestion someone made about a mid 90's camaro radio that came with a cd player. Supposedly it fits right in and hooks right up and looks like it belongs in the Corvette. Is anyone familiar with this swap? If it works I would be looking for some new or excellent used grill covers for the doors and rear speakers. I would be looking for that Camaro radio too.

Can't say that I've heard of that swap. I would just get some nice replacement speakers.
