I have a 90 and after a while the check engine light comes on. When I turn the car off the light goes off. Then drive it awhile and it comes back on. Anyway I had the computer checked it came up as a code 32 - EGR System. What should I look for to replace. Is there a likely "suspect" in that year car? Or am I chasing windmills? :kngt:

Not sure if you ever got your answer. Check the egr valve. The diaphragm had a tendency to get stuck or stick after a time.

EGR ports have plugged up, correct repair procedure is to remove intake and have it deep tanked at a machine shop. You can also try and gouge out the carbon with a coat hanger/wire etc. It's not as succesful as deep tanking. Most people replace parts for this problem including repair shops, and never get a home run, i run into this on a weekly basis.
Clean ports first and also check valve or replace it if needed and of course additional problems can arise too, 'stacked issue's' are very common today.
