I was talking with some of my buddies that go on trips with me and the term "flycutting" kept coming up while talking about H/C jobs. I don't want to sound like an idiot, but what does this term mean? Thank you!

Flycutting, in relation to head and cam setups, is when you have to cut the valve reliefs in the pistons deeper to accomodate high lift camshafts. Several manufacturers offer a special tool to allow you to do this with the engine in the car, but it is a very major job.
Hope this helps,
