I have a 2006 Z06 that I would like to upgrade both the suspension and brakes. First on the list is getting some coil overs. I know LG makes some great headers, but how are their G2 Coilovers? Worth the $$?

I think LG or Eibach are good coil overs to go with. Both priced about the same. Eibach is working with Callaway also. I like the Eibachs better for me.

I was looking at the Eibach's last night and came across coilovers from PFADT racing also? You know anything about those? They seemed priced less than the others?

Our Pfadt coilovers have a couple of nice advantages over the other offerings. Our package is designed for people who are doing dual duty with their car. Meaning some street use and a track days or auto-x also. We keep our spring rates firm (about 50% stiffer than Z06 rates) but not to the point of being brutal. When coupled with our high quality adjustable dampers, the ride is firm but controlled and not harsh. A lot of customers comment that they are what GM should be using as the Z51 package.

Lest you start to think that these are just 'street' units, they are exactly what I used on my C5 to podium at NASA Nationals last fall at Mid-Ohio.

We're new to this forum, but if you do a google on us (PFADT) you will find plenty of very satisifed customers running our suspension packages.

Please feel free to call us anytime to discuss your particular car and needs.

I drive my Z06 often and I like to take it to the track 4 or 5 times a year. I went to PFADT Coilovers and have never regretted it. I can set my ride height (gone way down then partially back up), spring rate, and 16 way adjustable dampers. They were easy to install and when I needed advice to point me in the right direction for my setup Aaron was a wealth of knowledge. It's really nice to talk to the engineer of the product, even more so, one that goes to the track and puts it through its paces. The coilovers have a wide range of adjustability that lend themselves to all sorts of tracks, rough or smooth, you'll be able to find the right setup. They're easy to adjust (after I drilled two 3/16" access holes in my trunk for the damper) and I can back off the dampers so that my wife will still go for weekend drives with me. And is she picky.
So two words: Adjustability and Affordability.
