I have a 1992 coupe and the horn doesn't work. The vette mechanic wants to remove the steering wheel say the problem is located in the steering column. He hasn't checked any other parts for voltage or corrosion? How about the horn relay? I think he wants to put money in his pocket.

I've got a '91 and the jackass engineer put the fuse in the auxiliary fusebox under the passenger dash. It is facing down and when I hit a few bumps it must come loose. I take it out (not blown) and put it back in and whala, tis working again.

Relays and the horns themselfs seem to be the most common problem. check to see if you have power to the horns first. relays are behind the glovebox. If you still have trouble post your question in general discussion, more readers there to help you.
