I've been thinking about getting a couple accessories for my car and would appreciate some recommendations as to where to get them, or more who has a better fitting product. I know all the different sites of WHERE to get them, but I know some sites have parts that fit or look better than others, so I'm looking for recommendations from people who have dealt with it first hand or talked to others who have.
The first thing I'm thinking about getting is one of those carpet mats for my dash. I get a lot of glare on sunny days and hoping that putting one of those carpet things on it would cut down on a lot of the glare. I don't want one of those cheap looking 'one size fits all' type of brands, I'd like one that looks good, fits the way it should and will stay where I want it. That or if anyone has any other suggestions on cutting down the glare let me know. I have a black dash and it's a '95 so it's not flat like the older C4s which makes it that much harder to find a good fitting carpet, or so I would think at least.
The other thing I'm considering getting is the front parking/ fog light blackout lenses. I've never wanted to, but my lenses are a little cloudy and I don't like how it looks, and don't want to spend hundreds of dollars buying new light housings. One car I've seen them on didn't look like they fit real well unless it was just loose or something, so same with those as the carpet, looking for ones that fit/ look good and stay on. I recently also saw some static cling blackouts in a catalog and wondered if anyone has tried those yet? And any idea if they have them for all four front lenses (front & sides) or is it just the front?
If anyone has ever dealt with any of this let me know as well as who sells the best ones (Mid-America, Corvette Central, Eckler's etc.)
