The 2 ways to fix this problem is:
1. Remove the posi unit from the rearend
2. Buy some aftermarket suspension parts that will allow you to adjust/tune the rear suspension.

Any car or truck that has a good working posi in the rearend will spin to one side or the other. This is the same with a race car with a spool. One side of the car is planting the rear tire and the other side is unloading the rear suspension allowing the other tire to want to spin or not bite as hard, thus making the car want to go sideways.
So what you will need to do is balance out the rear suspension so at launch, both rear tires are being planted the same. You may try using adjustable racing shocks in the rear. You can set the stiffness or softer settings for rebound and compression and at the speed the shock will move. If your going to go this far, then buy a set for the fronts also. The quicker the rise in the front of the car will allow the rear to plant quicker. The right side of the car will plant the hardest and the left side will loose traction. So you need to figure out what you need to make the left side plant as hard as the right.

NOTE.
Make sure if you get racing shocks they have a 50/50 setting. Some shocks are sold with one setting while others have more. Driving on the street will be a little diffrent if you have diffrent setting on your shocks from front to back. So if you have adju shocks, you can set them to 50/50 for the street and then hops out and dial them in for a race app.

Hope this helped some:cheers:

Just go the new shocks put into today as well as a new front and rear conversion kit to get rid of the springs so they woudl be composite now( I think thats what they are called). Also I just had rack and pinion put in so i no longer have manuel steering. My dad picked it up today, and you wouldnt you know he drove it into a street sign and dented up the new front end. Now I bought 4 new blisten heavy duty adjustable shocks for the whole car, and he said the thing still pulled way right in 2nd gear and went up on the curb. Now I know he was probably messin around, and realize the car hadnt been aligned yet, but he said it is still pullin way to much to the right. I was told by a friend that the tires I have( just regular tires, nothing special) could be the main culprit, but Im thinking there has to be something I can buy to keep it from pullin so much, I am gonna try adjusting the shocks to 50/50 like I was told, but will that really eliminate the problem, Any Ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The tires should be a problem. I never heard of tires making a car go right. Have you checked the suspension (bushings, bearings, control arms etc)? Make sure you don't have things moving around. If the vette needs to be aligned, then i'd get it done. Do the shocks and see what happens.
Has the vette been wrecked some time in its life? I have seen bent and broken frames cause problems like this also.
