My front bumper was badly damaged from my wife backing into the car last fall. I have finally gotten around to ordering a new bumper cover ($578.58!!!:wtf: )

I want to keep the cost down on repairing this. If I bring the car to the body shop to fix they will charge me for removal and installing the the new one. I believe removing the old one and installing the new one can't be that bad to do. So what I was wondering is it ok to have the body shop paint the new one off the car and I install? The one body shop I have spoken to said the correct way to do is to paint on the car and they kept pushing for me to let them do the install which of course is much more $$ they are charging? What you all think?

i would install it my self then take it ad have it painted that way it wont be drug on the ground with fresh paint wile you install it
