It's taking longer for my Vette to settle into it's warm idle rpm. It used to only take a couple minutes or so and now it seems like it's doubled.
Any thoughts?

I have a 1987

Possibly a faulty temp sensor. Could it be the weather is just colder than usual.

I would say the temp sensor too.

T-stat might be slightly open, very common.

Have you ever cleaned your Throttle body? If its real dirty the idle control motor has a hard time finding correct idle speed.

Had the same indications on my 1994 C4.
Installed a new temp sensor and it cured the problem at once.
