I'm looking at these Corvette Brake Caliper Covers from Ecklers. I think these will look pretty good. Not sure how easy or hard they are to install. What you all think?

Nice alternative to getting your calipers powder coated. The yellow should look real nice with your yellow paint. Post some pics after you get them.

You might want to talk to EPP or ECS forum vendors for specifics. I suspect these are just fine for street bling.
For track or sustained braking during a HPDE they might be a real downer as they would inhibit the brakes ability to shed heat. Just a guess.

I don't race this car at all. Just looking for a little bling in the wheel area. Good looking out. Thank you.

They remind me of riding lawnmower fenders. Does that color even match your car?

 lawnmower fenders!!!
How do these attach? Do the just slip on? I can hardly imagine how dirty the brakes will be if you take these off after a couple years?

I would say they would be a dirt and heat issue. Maybe for a show car or a weekend driver. IMHO

I bought these shortly after this post went up, I put them on my car and they didn't look good. Sorry to say they did look cheap. I may go with getting the brakes powdercoated blue. Need to get new rotors and do something with the rear calipers first.

I don't really care for them. I removed my calipers and painted them myself with high temperature brake caliper paint that you can get at most any auto parts store. I used red paint for the calipers and used a white paint marker to do the CORVETTE lettering on the front calipers. They turned out perfect and cost me about $30.00. Alot less than powder coating and looks just as good. By the way, the paint is made to resist brake dust so they are fairly easy to keep clean and with little effort.!!!!!!!! Just a thought, Thanks Scott:burnout:
