I have used Datamaster. Vast quantity of engine (and other) data. Free for use up to twenty uses then there is a users fee.

I have used this to trouble shoot incompetent O2 sensors codes that are set. I even used it to determine the A/C gas charge pressure. I'm telling you VAST QUANTITIES of very useable data. TPS % (in multiple criterion) ets.

It even has a fairly robust dyno application that is built in. It, in this engineer's view it uses all the correct variables (you must insert correct values if you expect correct results). I found it usefull to print out the operators manual to find most expedient way to use the array of features. Google for Datamaster DA v351. You should find it useful.

Put your laptop in the seat and test your car to the fullest. Since there are only twenty free uses be sure to save your results. I store them by date. When you have acquired your data take it to your desk and you can view the run from begining to end over and over andcan watch sensor transitions based on RPM and speed. The data is very configurable to your specific need. . If the CPU tosses a code you can see what happened to what sensor at the time the code was set.
