I have no idea as to how it got there but the tire is only a few thousand miles old. Of the looks of it, it's not deep but I can't fully tell other than it doesn't leak.
What are your thoughts on this, I won't be burning out or doing auto x so.......

Just a scratch that doesn't expose the belts is OK., anything else and it is junk.

Does this slash happen to run perfectly perpedicular to the tread but about an inch into the side-wall?
