:cheers: Well I was eating lunch on base and this guy approaches me and asked if the blue c4 was mine I say yes and says cool and tells me he is in the green c4 next to mine its an 86 with a green wood body kit looks cool we start to talk and every thing is going cool then out of no were he say you know an true corvette enthusiast doesn’t believe the maid corvettes between 81 and 85 and begins to tell me how crappy my 84s motor is well I usually don’t let people get under my skin but just kept going on and on so finally I said well if my car is so inferior to yours lets race he says ok lets go so we head out the gate and as luck would have it the light is red he pulls up and revs and I start to stage the light goes green and I launch I pull a half car shift from 1st to 2nd pull again now im a car ahead shift from 3rd to 4th and gust keep pulling I shut down at around 130 with a full car and a half we head back to base the guy a gate asked me If I had won I sad yes he said good job anyway I pull off at the shopet and the guy gets out and says there is no way that’s a cross fire car I just popped the hood for him and ask do you want to go again he replies hell no
