Creaks and noises come pre installed on Corvettes. The older models packaged them by the hundreds, the C5 packages them only by the 10s. You should be so lucky to get a little character for free..........:rofl::rofl:

I agree, I normally hear mine when passing over speed bumps or steep dips in the road. :doh:

My solid roof rattles like crazy!! Drives me nuts. Tried everything to get it to stop. My glass roof is whisper quiet but I prefer using the solid one so I just deal with the noise. That's what a good stereo system is for, right???:rockon6rk::woowoo:

All unwanted noises can be eliminated by adjusting the radio volume control

The only noise I hear is when Maggie starts to whine, it's music to my ears.

I'll drink to that, crank it up!!

Get a new tunnel plate, it will eliminate a lot of the creaks and groans. Not all, but a lot. :thumbsup3:

I guess I'm lucky, because I don't have any really noticeable squeaks. My old C4s and C3s had MAJOR squeaks and rattles, but the C5 is pretty tight. :thumbsup3:
But like CD said, the blower whistle and deep magnaflow exhaust have your attention so you don't really notice what squeaks might exist:burnout:

Have no fear, GM didn't forget us C6 owners either. My Z has developed a few since the Borla, it buzzes the interior panels something fierce, but again, it made no such noises until I installed the borla.

Top down - wind blowing - Bose cranked up - no creeks or noises. :thumbsup3: :burnout:

My C4 Vert had a million creeks & cracks.
My C5 is pretty good, only the roof creeks on cold days.:burnout:

ya those creeks and noises are very annoying but thankfully i can drown out the noise with my subwoofer and sound system haha

I am used to it, I just know that every car is going to make noises as it gets older.

You just haven't got all the NEW CAR squeaks out of that hummer yet.

Just install some Quicktimes and you won't hear any squeaks, creaks, or other noises.5063

In fact you won't hear anything but the exhaust. lol

What year is yours? The early ones are louder than the later year ones. There are many ways to reduce the sound levels.
