I recently discovered a British show called top gear, and at first was impressed. I thought wow these guys drive these cars hard an seem to shoot from the hip. Then after a few episodes I noticed an anti american car undertone. Figured they derserve their opinion. Then I noticed some pretty basic mistakes they made on air. For instance in one episode while reviewing the GT500 mustang they put the car on a chassis dyno and it made 440 rwhp. At which point they ridiculed the car for not actually having a 500 hp engine. WTF? It also seems like they are just afraid of anything rear wheel drive with 500+ HP. Lemme know if I'm the only one. Thanks guys.

Top gear does cover a variety of vehicles. One episode they bought $900 beaters and drove them across the south.

That was hilarious. They wrote things on the cars to **** people off. I think one said something about supporting gay marriage and the other said vote for hillary. They basically had a lynch mob after them.
I love the concept of the show but I just hate how it's so anti-american. They work so hard to find things that they can knitpick about when testing american cars. Half the time they can't even explain what they don't like, they just try to be negative and say things like "I don't know it just doesn't feel right" or "it just doesn't look right." Not to mention the little skinny wuss on the show is a total panzy. He was crying that his limp wrist was hurting after shifting the vette because it was just so hard to shift. I watched it for a while but then stopped because I can't stand the american bashing. You can find a bunch of the episodes on you tube.

I didn't like the arrogant and at the same time almost jealous attitute toward American cars. In one episode, he remarked how well it handled on the track. Then the guy said he stated that the Corvette wouldn't be a good car to drive daily and then banged on the tail of one and remark how cheaply it appeared to made.
