My cruise control does not work. Where do I even start to try and figure out what is broke? :noidea:

Well, I have heard that when the cruise control no longer works its the transducer.

It may be as simple as a vac hose disconnected. check all lines . drivers side inside fender below brake booster

Check that the brake light switch which is also the cruise control switch, hasn't been moved by accident on the brake pedal arm.
It doesn't take much to disable it!!!

Thanks for the info. The hoses are good. Guess I'll look at that brake light switch.

Speedo works and doesn't "jump" around?
Power to the transducer? Switch at the turn signal lever connected under the dash? And works? The FSM has a decent diagnosis tree too.

Try applying vacuum to the diaphragm. It is most likely torn after all these years. A new one will set you back about $90.
