I guess thats a no.
400RWHP = 450? at the flywheel
There are guys out there with well built, cammed 383's with aftermarket 195 cc heads that are touching 400RWHP
Pushing @#*& uphill with the little 160cc 113 heads

Can be done with $$$
383 .Extrude honed and fully ported heads aftermarket intake , $1500 fuel management system 458 FWHP
http://www.superchevy.com/technical/engines_drivetrain/induction_poweradders/sucp_0703_stealth_tpi_induction/dyno_test_results.html
The only reason for going down this path is to keep a stock(ish ) appearing engine.
Extruding honing is expensive; like $1075 for a set of heads plus porting costsand you notice no pricing on the head work is given in the writeup
Sure to be able to buy same or better performing aftermarket head for less $$$

Ultimately is it going to be worth putting the money into it to make that power?

I have always thought of those heads as a weak set up, just from seeing what has been done with them.
