I do know that they charge by the mile. There are a couple of different car haulers you could call for prices. I would think it might be expensive due to the miles between points. Might be cheaper to fly down and drive home.

I don't really want to put the extra mileage on the car,it only has 28K. I want to give it a once over befor I take it out, would hate to get it half way home and something goes wrong.

Call DAS or another car freight co. They moved a 51 IH pickup from Ill to TX for $500. Took 3 days and they brought it to my house.

I shipped a Triumph spitfire from St. Louis to Virginia Beach and the new owner used Fed- Ex (Yes they do ship cars). He payed around $950.00, but they are insured and trustworthy. If you do ship it, be sure and do your homework. You will find cheaper car haulers, but you may not be happy. Hope this helps.

I want the car safe and sound,no surpises, hoping to get it for $800 to $900.I hear that Volo ,are scammers, hate to put a car on a truck with the title and find out that you loose it,heartbreaking,I will do my homework before I sign up with anyone. Thanks for the feedback.
By the way ,the car has had only one owner, she is 73 years old now,got it for her 50th birthday, from her husband. What a dream

In September 2008, I paid $700 to have my new '09 Vette delivered from a car dealer in Lansing, Michigan to my office in Oklahoma City. The deliver took one day. However, the transporter was not a covered trailer. Covered transporters will cost more. I would guess it would cost $1,200 to $1,500 to transport the your car.

Bigblock427 brought up a good point which reminded me that the Fed -ex transport he used to transport the spitfire was was a covered carrier. Not bad I guess for $950.00. It took about a week for him to get it. Some of the other cars he had on the carrier was a 59' Corvette, 65' Ferrari, a late 30's to early 40's Woody and the owner did the restoration of the wood himself. Some very valuable cars, it was a rolling car show.
Congrats on your new Vette, I also have an 87' convertable with 54,000 miles and couldn't be happier. They are alot of fun to drive.:thumbsup3:

Try Mackie out of Missisaugua,Ont. They haul across North America. They haul to Florida and back for the Cdn "snowbirds". Used them to ship my other toy..1988 Formula 350 F/Bird from Ontario to my son in B.C. back in June of 2007..doorstep to doorstep.

I see the biggest cost of this whole thing being crossing the boarder. Taxes, tariffis. May want to consider meeting it across the boarder in the US then driving up.
