1970 Vette, I can't drive the car at night. These have not worked for a few weeks. Its a second car so I'm in no rush but would like to get it fixed though.

When I try to turn on the headlights nothing happens? Has anyone had problems with the switches on these cars or could the problem be up towards the lights?

Buy a mightyvac hand pump and test the vacuum system to see if it is air related.

Do the lights come on and just not go up? Do they not light up? Do they come up and not light up?

Sounds like the switch. but check the voltage and make sure that the bulba are good.

To get to the switch you need to lower the dash do you have any manuals?

Are the lights coming on and not coming up, hard to understand what you are saying

Try clicking the high beam switch a few times, I have seem them get stuck and cause the headlights to do crazy things.
