on my 2000, when you hold the traction control button down for 5 secs, you enter the "competitive" driving mode. anyone know exactly what that means and how its different from just having the traction control turned off. i know with it off you'll be chasing the rearend around...lol :burnout:

With it in Competition mode, you can spin the rear tires but the Active Handling will/should keep the car in the direction you point the front wheels. So you can slide/drift the car around turns/corners but still have the computer keep you out of the weeds.

:iagree: However, with my C6, it doesn't allow me much fun, the car still intervenes and pulls the plug on the action, I push my button down for about 10 seconds and de-activate the entire traction control/active handling system altogether. :burnout:

This is what happens at the track when you disable the traction control.
(Hopefully the picture of the wrecked Vette will show up)
