Looking at these Accel 9000 wires for $130? How are these wires compared to other wires available?

The performance of the ACCEL/MSD/MOROSO wires at this level is comparable. The difference in resistance is negligable. You'll see an increase in spark energy at the plug and it'll help but its not huge unless your running a High output coil (MSD Blaster II/etc). These wires arent as robust as the stock replacements, and can introduce interference into electrical circuits and cross miss, but proper wire routing will prevent these issues. You should also consider installing some sort of capacitive discharge ignition control such as an MSD 6A.

I like Accel, their yellow wires look good under the hood!

I dont much care for accell as they make junk mostly. If you are running factory ignition why not run factory wires, they will give you fewer problems IE radio interference. Use MSD or Mallory if you want good performance.

I wouldnt say their stuff is junk, its just better than stock like edelbrock stuff. Its not great but its not crap either. As far as ignition goes, he is correct; MSD/MALLORY have been running that game for a while.
