Got some smelly azz steam that came out of my vents today!
I have felt sorry for others that this has happened to and now the tides have turned I think!

Does it smell like antifreeze? Carpet wet on passengers side? Hope everything is OK. Good luck.

I feel for you. I just replaced mine while I had the entire dash out to restore. It isn't an easy job, but can be done with some time and a lot of patience. Either way, it sucks.

Put some Barsleak in it so you can use it until the weather gets a little warmer for working on it. Then when you do the heater core flush the whole system good.

I know a handful of fellas that went through that and none of them said anything positive about the whole situation! Sorry.

It's because of the placement of the components that makes it such a tough and tedious job.

Yes it does smell like antifreeze, however I couldn't feel any wetness on pass side.
