Greetings goup.

I have just brought home my first corvette it's a 84 C4.

The car is in excellent shape...I was surprised. With only 47k original miles. How much did I pay? I even swapped my 1995 Celica for the vette - striaght up title for title.

It does need a couple things - new struts for the rear hatch. These I got on ebay already.

Want I do need is the hood release. One cable is off because the handle is broken on that side. So I need a replacement handle...any help on where I can get one?

I'll post photos on my web site www.tucsoncarevents.com if you go there now and click on the Web Masters Car link, you can see the conversion of my 1970 mustang from a straight 6 to a .30 over 302.

Thanks for any assistance.

Hello there Tim, I might have a tranny you'd be interested in. 1993 ZF 6 Speed. It is used and might want to be freshened up a bit but it is a good tranny. I don't have the slave cylinder, clutch or the flywheel but do have the bellhousing and the shifter.

Mid america or corvette america should have the replacement cables for the hood release. Sounds like a good deal to me , a yota for a vette.

Thanks for the offer of the drive train, but I'm not in the market for one just yet.

Was shift kit available for the automatics back when they were new? This car really grabs it going into second gear. Any known transmission problems.

Thanks in advance.
