Expect normal items to need replacing over time,(water-pump,power steering pump,a/c cond, brakes etc.) as you would any other vehicle. Parts are reasonable and plentiful for the most part. I think that transmission on any high mile car would need some sort of maint or repair along the line. A used Corvette due to its very nature may have suffered a hard life..........expect to be tinkering and staying on top items as they need attention and you'll be ok..............
