I'm new this forum or for any forum on that note. So my first question is what is Competitive driving mode for? What does it do?

Competitive Driving mode is a fantastic tool! It turns off Traction Control but keeps the Active Handling active. In other words it allows wheel spin but attempts to keep the car from getting sideways and out of control on you.

It’s great for novices learning how to do burnouts or just getting into road racing. I personally (right or wrong) used to come out of sharp curves on full throttle and occasionally the rears would spin. I would not have liked it if Traction Control kicked in! LOL Especially considering the lag in the system…

You can engage yours on the fly, earlier models had to be a stop then press the button for 5 seconds…

Hope that answers your question…
