The rear deck lid makes a very loud and annoying noise when I try to open the deck with the remote or the button on the dash? I know I will need to replace something but I want to know if this is something that should be handled by the dealer or if I can do the repair. I do not know where the actuator is located. Do you have any info that can help me to diagnose this problem? tstar 02-13-2008, 11:07 PM Sure, I'm talking about the electrical "motor" that opens the actual rear hatch latch.
