I lost my AC last year and I would like to get it taken care of before summer. I don't think there is a charge in the system but how do I check?
Also if there isn't then it leaked out somewhere and is there a special method to finding that out?
1999 is the year of my Vette if that helps in the system set up.:thumbsup:

have to fill system with dye and run a/c use a light and find leak

I would reccomend taking it in to a shop and having it repaired.

trying the dye test is going to be your best bet at this point if you don't want to take it in to a pro just yet.
