My daily dose of surfing the net has lead me to www.fullonspeed.com where they advertise a electric supercharger???

I have seen the $30 superchargers on ebay :smack: this one seems to be priced alot higher??? Could this thing actually work?

I have never seen anywhere an electric supercharger that actually has any performance gains. This is one of those things that bleeds into our territory from the import circles somehow. Not something worth putting on a corvette.

:iagree: Corvette = Performance

why discount the car by putting something like this on it? These electric superchargers most likely only make a noise! ha ha ha

My bad i didnt see the link before. Im no super/turbo guru but that setup seems to lend itself to a drag only application. I seriously doubt that those motors could sustain the constant load of a street car. Im pretty sure the rpm of the compressor has to at least somewhat reflect that of the engine right? So you'd have to use some sort of scalable voltage controller like a fuel pump booster. You'd also have to have one badass alternator on your car to support this. We need to get some super/turbocharging engineers in here to discuss this. I seriously doubt its feasible but I'm interested nonetheless. I thought it was one of those ricer vacuum cleaner blower electric "superchargers".
