: Crossfire idle help

My 84 crossfire is idling like is missing, i have replace spark plugs and distributor and still doing like is going to shut off during idle. any sugestions.

Can you give a better description of the missing? Is it regular (rythmic) or random? Have you checked the plug wires? When and how did the symptom start? The symptom is ONLY noticable during idle? Other than that, it runs great and has good power?

:iagree: I dont know what missing is. Just throwing this out there tho, check the TPS and all vacuum lines.

yes it is random only at idle it runs great and has power. i was thinking to replace spark plugs wires..

Wet the wires down & look for arching.

You may also open the hood with it running at night and look for arcs

i just did it in the garage and that is the problem a bad spark plug wire...:beerbang:
