I saw the pics of the wide body kits and I think I want to do this to my z. Thing is where do you get the wheels and tires, also do you have to disconect or modify the brake coolers. Thanks guys:cheers:

There are a couple Tire co. that you can get the tires from. Nitto would be my choice as that is what we are running on both our Vettes. On the C5, I am not possitive if you have to modify your brake coolers, the C6 version came with new ones.

Which Nittos are you guys running Greg? I am in need of some new tires soon and I have been looking at a few brands and Nitto being one of them. Thanks!

Are you going with the ACP wide body? Personally this one I like the best. I did like the Caravaggio wide body but I was told you can't buy this kit and install yourself. You need to ship the car to Caravaggio for them to do the work. :(

I would imagine your brake coolers will be still there in some form or another?

Here's some $$$$$ info to help with the decision:

1. L5 fender flairs are about $800. Ergo changing the rear of the car. (pictured below my street car)

2. ACP full Z11 body kit is about $4,300 (add about $1,300 if you want a air extractor hood for either)

3. Caravaggio C5 Wide body: About $14,000 (great look, more expensive)

Good luck!
