Has anyone replaced the stock C6 (2005) automatic shift knob with an aftermarket? I'm looking for instructions on how to remove the stock knob. Any and all help will be appreciated!

I was wondering the same when I first got this car... actually it is very easy to remove:

1. Apply E-brake
2. Start engine
3. Shift car into 1st
4. Shut off engine

*Look on front side of the shift knob towards the bottom, you will see a small slot.

5. Insert small flat head and pry out retaining clip. (looks like a staple)
6. Once clip is removed knob will lift off.:cool:
