Yeah all the base C4s had only one engine available for any given year. The only exceptions are the ZR-1s, Grand Sports, and Special Editions. '84s have the Crossfire injection, '85-'91s (I think) have the L98 which is my favorite because I love the way the intake 'pipes' look on the top and sides of the motor, and the '92-'96s have the LT1. ZR-1s have the LT5, Grand Sports and Special Editions have the LT4. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong anywhere I'm just going off memory and haven't looked it all up in awhile. An excellent site for all sorts of fun info and pretty much anything basic you'd wanna know for all years is http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/specs/

I believe thats all correct, with the exception of the LT-4 only being available on the GS and CE. I am almost certain that it was an option in the later year C4's.

I have to agree. LT 4 was available on some 96's but not sure for the 95's

Here is what Wiki has to say about it:

The LT4 was a special high-performance version of the new-generation LT1. With the addition of a slightly more aggressive camshaft profile, 1.6:1 roller aluminum rocker arms and better-flowing intake manifold (painted red) and cylinder heads, it was rated at 330 horsepower (250 kW) and 340 lb·ft (461 N·m). It was introduced in the 1996 model year, for the last year of the C4 Corvette, and came standard on all manual transmission (ZF 6-speed equipped) C4 Corvettes. The engine was passed down to special versions of the Camaro and Firebird the next model year.

The LT4 was available on the following vehicles:

* 1996 Chevrolet Corvette when equipped with 6-speed manual transmission (includes all Grand Sports) (Production: 6,359)
* 1997 Chevrolet Camaro SLP/LT4 SS 6-speed (Production: 100 for the U.S., 6 for Canada. There were 2 prototypes)
* 1997 Pontiac Firebird SLP/LT4 Firehawk 6-speed (Production: 29)

Yeah, that's right. I remember now lol. I never knew they put it in anything other than the Vette though, I'd love to have one of those Camaros.
