We finished up a customer’s cam only Z last week, and while we usually use own custom grind cams in our packages, this customer wanted something that gave that big, choppy lope, but wanted great low end drivability as the customer lives out on long island (NY), so traffic and parking lots are a daily concern. :ack: Knowing this customer pretty well (we Supercharged his 06 Z a few months ago), we selected the Katech torquer.

As most of you know, the trade off between low end drivability and HP is a very fine line... But not in this instance... The Torquer delivered great low end power & drivability, while posting up strong numbers for a cam of its size.

Take a look at the video... this car drives great... especially where "big" cams really struggle. Great job Katech!!!

BTW this car had about 1500 miles on the odo, and the entire package consists of ARH 1/78ths headers, K&N Intake (customer had it on the car already), and the Katech Cam, Springs, Chain, etc.... Stock Cat Back with a Mild to Wild switch.

Nice looking numbers, about inline with the dyno jet numbers I have seen elsewhere for this cam.

If I might ask what do you charge for the install and tune?

I love the lope that this cam has, yet is so drivable and doesn't surge and stumble. Its a big cam without all the big cam antics.

Did you install it with Katech's springs and timing set as well?
