Well last night i was driving around in my 85 vette that is currently driveing like **** i struggle just to keep in on in parking lots. then a 90's not exactly sure the year but it was a cobra and it pulled out behind me and crossed all the way over to get next to me at the light didnt think he wanted to race cause i didnt and then went to go and he started to floor it so once he did i also did and he got me by half a car length i started to catch him once we got over 60 and thats when he cut off and slowed down so thats the story of my first race... i wish the vette was driving right i would have eat him up.

Yeah on the inner city stop lights the vettes not that great. But thats just a deficiency in power. Where I live we street race on the highway starting at 60 and stopping when it chips so there the corvette is king. We dont see a lotta gts/vipers and ferraris/lambos are nonexistent. I had a friend with a 2004 cobra. He'd murder my 85...... until about 100 mph then it was another story. By the time I hit 150 he was too scared to keep up. Keep your chin up man. Get about a 500 horse engine and youll see that the c4 is a great platform.
