: Seat bolster motors draining battery

A friend was having trouble with his battery getting drained. It was finally traced to the seat bolster pump motors which he incidentally didn't use. Maybe part of the initial problem.
They decided to just disconnect them as he was told it was cheaper to replace the seat than all the labor to change our the pump motors and that they were unavailable.
Any ideas

That's unique. What model was it on? To be honest it probably would be cheaper to buy then try to fix on this imo.

Well heck, I would say that if he wasn't using the bolsters in the first place and disconnecting them fixed the issue then problem solved!

It was an 04 coupe

my 00 had the same problem..passenger side.. i just unpluggged the fuse for it
